Students often stay in the same position while studying. This can make the back, hips, shoulders, and neck feel stiff or tired. When this happens, taking a short movement break can relax the body and make it easier to focus again.
One helpful exercise is the bridge. It is simple and doesn’t require any special equipment. First, lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Keep your head and shoulders relaxed. Tighten your stomach and buttock muscles.
Next, slowly lift your hips until your body forms a straight line from your knees to your shoulders. Hold the position while taking three deep breaths. Then slowly lower your hips back to the floor.
Start by doing five repetitions each day. As your body becomes stronger, you can gradually do more. Adding this short movement break to your daily routine can help you feel refreshed, relaxed, and ready to learn again.
