My goal for this summer vacation was to read 10 books, and I can’t believe I already did it! Out of all of them, “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson had the biggest impact on me. Before I read it, I thought great ideas mostly came from natural talent. But Steve Jobs’ story showed me that hard work, discipline, and persistence are just as important. It really changed the way I think about creativity and success. Have you ever read a book that changed the way you see the world?
Cheers,
Peter
Dear Peter,
That’s awesome! Reading 10 books is a great achievement. For me, “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee had the biggest impact. It taught me how prejudice can hurt innocent people and divide communities, and to always stand up for what is right. After reading it, I started thinking more carefully before judging people.
All the best,
Jane
